Cyanea Tillandsia cyanea (illustrated with Black Cat Bones) This plant grows in the forests of Ecuador high in the trees receiving full sun, high temperatures and high humidity. It is the most popular specie in the genus Tillandsia. This plant needs very bright, filtered light to maintain the incandescent hot pink color of the spike. The inflorescence makes subtly clove scented deep purple flowers. This is a small plant, perfect for that sunny window. Water frequently. (The plant I offer has a single spike.)
