Aechmea fasciata 'Morgana' This is the "signature" plant of the Bromeliad family. It (A. fasciata) is a true specie from the mountain forests of southern Brazil and is the number one house plant in Europe. Variety 'Morgana' is the result of years of selective breeding. The green leaves are barred and dusted with silver cross bands and the hot pink inflorescence is dotted with lavender blue flowers. Due to the large cup formed by the wide leaves, this plant will go a month between watering. Needs bright, filtered light.
Note: A. fasciata burns easily when sleaved or boxed during the hot summer months. Please only order this plant during the milder months. Thanks.
